Grower Specs & Cultural Guidelines

Light: Full sun to bright greenhouse light (8+ hours daily for peak stem strength and bloom size).

Spacing: Plant plugs at a tight 4" x 4" to 6" x 6" grid to encourage tall, vertical stem elongation.

Support: 1–2 layers of hort-line support netting are recommended to keep the tall, heavy stems straight and harvest-ready.

Watering & Soil: Prefers well-draining soil rich in organic matter (pH 6.5–7.2). Use drip irrigation to keep water off the delicate champagne petals and reduce disease risk.

Temperature: Thrives in warm growing conditions; keep night temperatures above 60°F (15°C) after transplanting to prevent rosette formation.

Ordering Plugs Expectations 

All orders must have the same shipping week. Any separate weeks desired must be ordered separately. Any mixed shipping week orders may be shipped at our discretion and modified to meet availability.

Plant Care:

You can plant lisianthus up to 6 weeks before you're last frost since they are frost tolerant.

Space your plants 4-6inches apart in a full sun location with well-draining soil. They work well in containers or in garden borders.

They will grow between 1-3ft tall and 6-12inches wide. 

Feed regularly with high-phosphorous fertilizer.

Continuously deadhead for new blooms, they are excellent cut flowers with a long vase lie.
