Plug Orders:
When will I receive my plugs?
Most orders will have a shipping week option to select from. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot split order shipments. If you select multiple weeks, we will ship all items together based on the best availability of the plants or you may be subject to cancelations.
If there is no shipping week selection, we will ship your plug the week surrounding your last frost date based on the zipcode provided at checkout. If you'd like to inquire what this week is or make any changes, please contact us at: bloomingpatchesfarm@gmail.com
What size will my plugs be?
This depends on the variety but most plugs will come from a 72 tray cell and 1.53in in width and 2.36in in depth. Some may come from a smaller 162 cell tray but will have ample root development and just as ready to plant in your garden.
How are the plugs grown?
The plugs are grown in a greenhouse and we attempt to replicate outdoor growing conditions as much as possible to strengthen your seedlings for immediate planting.
We never use any chemicals, they are grown with a quality blend of PROMIX and our homegrown worm castings for a healthy start and beautiful future blooms.
How will they arrive to me?
We wrap the plugs in a biodegradable moisture towelette then secure with wrapping for safe traveling.
