Dahlia 'Blue Bayou' is an exquisite anemone-flowered variety that commands attention with its captivating two-toned display. The outer petals are a soft, cool lavender-pink with subtle blue undertones (the closest dahlia gets to "blue"), forming a delicate collar around a dense, striking center. This center is a plush, deep purplish-pink 'pincushion' composed of tightly packed tubular florets.
The unique form and elegant contrast of 'Blue Bayou' make it a highly sought-after plant for adding drama and texture to garden beds, borders, and patio containers. As an open-centered type, it is also a fantastic pollinator attractor, bringing bees and butterflies to your garden all season long. Plant this variety for a continuous supply of highly floriferous, exceptional cut flowers.
